Corporate Tax Accountant

Job Summary:

The Corporate Tax Accountant will be responsible for managing the companys tax compliance and reporting activities. This role involves preparing accurate tax filings ensuring compliance with tax regulations and providing strategic tax planning to optimize the companys tax position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file federal state and local tax returns in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations staying up to date with any changes.
• Conduct tax research and analysis to support tax planning and decisionmaking.
• Assist in the preparation of tax provisions and deferred tax calculations.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors as needed.
• Maintain and organize tax records and documentation.
• Participate in tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
• Identify opportunities for tax savings and recommend strategies to optimize the companys tax position.
• Provide support for various accounting and financial tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate tax accounting or a related field.
• Strong understanding of federal state and local tax laws and regulations.
• Previous experience in Agriculture industry and real estate industry are a plus.
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
