Tax Director

Job Summary: The Director of Taxes will oversee the entire tax function of the organization ensuring compliance optimizing tax strategies and managing the tax team. This executive role requires a strategic leader with extensive tax knowledge and management experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and filing of all federal state and local tax returns.
• Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize the companys tax burden.
• Advise senior management on tax planning and taxrelated matters.
• Manage relationships with tax authorities and oversee all tax audits.
• Ensure the organizations compliance with all tax laws and regulations.
• Lead and develop the tax department team.
• Stay informed about changes in tax legislation and their implications for the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• CPA certification required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in tax with significant management experience.
• Deep knowledge of federal state and local tax regulations.
• Proven strategic thinking and leadership abilities.
• Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
