Job Description
- Lead and manage a team responsible for processing and executing Letter of Credit transactions
- Ensure adherence to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in all aspects of Letter of Credit operations
- Provide guidance and training to team members on Letter of Credit processes, regulations, and best practices
- Review and approve Letter of Credit documents, verifying accuracy and compliance with established standards
- Stay updated on changes in regulations, international trade rules, and Letter of Credit practices
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as relationship managers and trade finance departments, to ensure efficient and accurate processing of Letter of Credit transactions
- Resolve customer issues and queries related to Letter of Credit transactions in a timely and satisfactory manner
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Prepare reports on the team's performance and provide regular updates to senior management
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and new technologies related to Letter of Credit operations
