Emergency Department Nurse-DayEvening Flex

Assignment Start Date: 8/7/2024

13 weeks Varied 12hour shift 36 hours guaranteed week

Seeking experienced Emergency Room RN in a busy trauma level 3 department. Will work flex shift with one or two other nurses and a fulltime ER physician. New modern facility in rural northeast Oregon. Assesses prescribes delegates coordinates and evaluates the nursing care provided. Ensures provision of quality care for selected groups of patients through utilization of the nursing process established standards of care policies and procedures. He/She is responsible for the written Nursing Care Plan acts as the patient advocate and is responsible for the direction and supervision of any personnel assigned to him/her. The RN is responsible to the Unit Nurse Manager or House Supervisor.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

• Must have three or more years of ER experience and the ability to come in and work with minimal direction or supervision.
• Previous Med/Surg experience desired.

Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:

• A current unencumbered State of Oregon RN license is required.
• Must have ACLS BLS & PALS.

EMR System: EPIC knowledge/experience preferred

Shift:

Day/Evening Flex; scheduled to work 3 12 hour shifts per week including every other weekend. .
