Scope of the Role
As a Financial Analyst II you will play a crucial role in supporting the clients' finance departments by delivering expert financial analysis and modeling. This clientfacing position will involve handling quantitative financial diligence building financial forecasts annual budgets operating plans variance analyses cash flow modeling KPI analysis and more.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain sophisticated financial and operating models for clients.
- Develop and update cash flow forecasts to support strategic decisionmaking.
- Utilize pivot tables and other tools to extract insights from large datasets highlighting key trends in client financial performance.
- Create and maintain executive dashboards for client leadership teams and stakeholders.
- Implement data processes and workflows to enhance the automation and efficiency of recurring financial deliverables.
- Support the loan closing process by preparing necessary deliverables and compiling data for lending requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of pitch materials such as team bios market overviews and benchmarking analyses.
- Provide monthly updates on key industry and client news summarizing earnings calls and other relevant information.
- Conduct adhoc Excel analyses using various data sources to address specific client requests.
- Collaborate closely with accounting teams and client internal stakeholders to gather data and insights.
Requirements:
- 24 years of experience in transaction services credit analyst roles or similar positions involving financial analysis and modeling.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel for building and maintaining complex financial and operational models.
- Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of accounting principles.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Detailoriented proactive and able to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
- Experience with professional services or clientfacing roles is preferred.
- Fluent in English.
