Job Description
We are working with an awardwinning multilicensed broker who offers online CFD trading on FX crypto oil metals shares and indices and seeking to onboard Senior Accountant to join their team in Limassol.
Position: Senior Accountant
Location: Limassol Cyprus
Work model: onsite
Employment type: Fulltime
Remuneration: base salary.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare monthly management reports
- Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
- Ensure compliance with applied accounting standard principles
- Report on findings and make recommendations for improvements
- Liaise with external auditors for the company s annual audit
- Vat calculation and form submission
- Process payroll and preparation of the relevant forms
- Assist the CFO in producing the budget according to the schedule
- Undertake monthend and yearend financial statement closing process
- Review journal entries of junior accountants to ensure accuracy
- Train and mentor junior accountants
- Any other ad hoc duties requested by the CFO that are relevant to the role.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor s degree in accounting finance or another relevant field
- ACA / ACCA / CPA qualified
- Minimum 4 year experience in accounting roles
- Previous experience in a similar role within the FX industry is a must
- Advance MS Excel skills including the use of formulas and pivot tables is highly desirable
- Excellent command of the English language both verbal and written
- A handson approach to the overall operational functions of the company
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and perform well under pressure
- Excellent reporting skills
- Excellent interpersonal organizational and communicational skills
- Ability to gather and dissect financial data
- Team player and good coaching skills.
