Overview
An Account Manager plays a crucial role in the organization by serving as the primary point of contact for clients managing their accounts and ensuring satisfaction with products and services. This position is vital for building and maintaining strong client relationships driving revenue and fostering business growth.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong longlasting client relationships
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products and solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
- Forecast and track key account metrics
- Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment
- Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to expand revenue growth opportunities
- Develop account expansion strategies
- Handle and resolve customer complaints and inquiries
- Prepare reports on account status
- Act as the liaison between customers and internal teams
- Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to improve the entire customer experience
- Establish and oversee execution of client account plans
- Manage and ensure customer satisfaction and retention
Required qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or relevant field
- Proven work experience as an Account Manager Key Account Manager Sales Account Manager Junior Account Manager or relevant role
- Demonstrable ability to communicate present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization including executive and Clevel
- Experience in delivering clientfocused solutions based on customer needs
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Excellent listening negotiation and presentation abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in delivering clientfocused solutions to customer needs
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time while maintaining sharp attention to detail
- CRM software experience such as Salesforce Zoho or HubSpot
- Proficient in MS Office
- Experience with customer service and relationship management
