Project description:

To support our team at our customer in the aerospace sector we are looking for a Power Electronic Design Engineer (f/m/d) for a permanent position at Ktronik as soon as possible. Does that sound interesting Then we look forward to receiving your application!

Tasks:

  • Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams for highperformance motor control applications
  • Design verify and validate the functional safety and performance requirements of the project
  • Analyze verification results
  • Gathering writing and validating hardware requirements
  • Implementing the development life cycle according to the guidelines of RTCA/DO254 and AMC 20152A
  • Consulting as a technical expert in the field of power electronics
  • Building relationships with development partners suppliers and engineering service providers
  • Definition and optimization of processes and tools for the design and development of electronic hardware
  • Design of electronic hardware and PCB layout according to RTCA/DO160 and industry standards
  • Participation in system/aircraft integration and qualification tests
  • Lead technical presentations product evaluations and benchmarks

Skills:

  • MSc. in electrical or electronic engineering or similar degree
  • At least 4 years of professional experience (aerospace automotive industry etc.)
  • Knowledge of design standards for aerospace systems
  • Experience with power electronics design modeling and simulation
  • Experience with high voltage systems (>400 Vdc) for motor control drive applications or battery management systems
  • Independent and goaloriented way of working
  • Fluency in English required Another plus is:
  • Electronics design and layout according to DO160
  • Product development according to DO254.
  • Experience with schematic and PCB layout tools
  • Integration and debugging of safetycritical control systems
  • Creation of verification plans and test cases
  • Fluency in German
