Hardware Engineer

Educational Qualification: Bachelors degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering or equivalent BSC in Electronics

Experience: 27 years of experience in a desired skillset.

Skill set:

• Experience in following:
  • Obsolescence and critical components analysis
  • BOM PCN (Product change notification) & AVL ( Availability ) managing
  • Electronic and electromechanics component coding
  • Finding equivalent / Alternate components and process
  • Handling Designers Sourcing dept. and Global / Local Suppliers
• Technical documentation management
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Word MSExcel and PowerPoint
• Interested in Electrical and Electronic Components Classification
• Desirable working experience in NPD life cycle Manufacturing process and Documentation.
• Strong knowledge in PCB manufacturing process good design practices for PCB Cost analysis ROHS CE and other standards EMI EMC concepts & tests Hands on experience in Design Product Development and testing and other activities in electronic product life Cycle
• Knowledge in Schematic design Component selection PCB design simulation Analog circuits Digital circuits and Thermal analysis is added advantage
• Good communication and Strong presentation skills

Tools: Silicon Expert CAD softwares (ORCAD Allegro Altium)

Role & Responsibilities:

• New Product Design & Development of Inverters for a various application such as pumps fans conveyor belts packaging textile material processing food & beverage woodworking and warehouse applications
• Support in the technical documentation management
• Electronic and electromechanics component coding
• Research for equivalent components
• Interface with Designers and Sourcing dept. and with the Local Suppliers
• Work closely with Global R&D teams Cross functional teams of Bonfiglioli India and other global plants for new conceptual and VAVE initiatives
• Leading and growing the competency of the team to drive the strategic organizational goals.
• Identify monitor and closure of issues and risks.
• Responsible for on time execution of the tasks quality and costs
