Food Beverage Procurement

To be responsible for:

• Engagement with client for establishing acceptable benchmarks for arriving at savings accrued in procurement for the client.
• To guide the operation team with purchase strategies and knowledge such as to maximize savings from benchmark price and assure timely product delivery.
• Get involved with ensuring timely delivery wherever team requests for assistance basis their assessment of the degree of uncertainty.
• To help the operation team in sourcing new credible vendors and suppliers wherever necessary. Improving engagement with existing vendors/suppliers.
• To conduct visits to the premises of vendors and supplier for capacity and capability assessments as and when needed.
• To guide the operations team with the industry benchmark terms and conditions of purchase as and when necessary.
• To lead the negotiations team along with buyers to achieve savings favourable delivery and payment terms from vendors/suppliers.
• To help in creating case studies reports and presentations to highlight the value added for the client.
• Attend review meetings with clients along with team.
