Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Assessing the stability security and scalability of installed Windows systems.

• Installing or upgrading Windows systems and servers.

• Providing technical support for system users.

• Troubleshooting system and server errors.

• Reviewing system error logs and userreported errors.

• Managing user access.

• Monitoring system performance.

• Maintaining server architecture security and creating system backups

• Responsible for configuring the infrastructure and installing applications on Windows IIS hosted platform

• Working with application teams examining deployment requirements (hardware and software requirements).

• Ensuring that the installation is done in accordance with standards and best practices.

• Complete Datacenters Monitor of VMs Storage Devices

• Regular Updation of Security Patches @ VM and Regular Servers @ Datacenters & Cloud

• Maintaining server architecture security and creating system backups.

• Participate in Business Continuity Planning and Exercises as needed

• Perform the role of key custodian in line with key management procedures

• Managing production development and QA issues

• Act as a member of the Windows Active Directory Domain Administrator Support Team in providing timely and efficient support to assigned operations

• Troubleshoot Active Directory authentication and LDAP configuration issues

• Troubleshoot DNS Service and DNS resolution issues

• Knowledge in Active Directory user objects computer objects OUs policies

Required Experience and Skills:

• Proven work experience as a Windows Administrator is preferred.

• Detailed knowledge of Windows server setup deployment and maintenance.

• Ability to create power shell scripts.

• Experience with databases patch management and networks including LAN and WAN.

• Familiarity with modern operating systems and server platforms.

• Knowledge of network security systems intrusion detection systems and data backup.

• Collaborates with engineers architects developers and other staff to meet project objectives.

• Excellent problem solving and communication skills along with the ability to work independently part of a cross functional global team Good analytical and communication skills.

• Hands on experience in Azure / GCP/ AWS Cloud infra manage the instances of the cloud infrastructure services and the multiple cloud servers

• Strong understanding and background of working with a complex Active Directory Azure AD LDAP and the requirement of strictly following standards procedures and processes

• Handson experience of system administration of Windows serverside infrastructure and associated technologies

• Designing HighReliability/HighAvailability systems and experience on cluster setup and troubleshooting

• Familiarity with modern operating systems and server platforms.

• Having Additional Certification in relevant Technologies and Platform will be an addon advantage

• Experience building migrating securing and upgrading Domain Controllers

• Experience creating analyzing testing and implementing Group Policies

Qualifications for windows administrator:

• Bachelors degree in a related field or a technical training program and four years professional experience

• High school diploma or GED and seven years experience will also qualify

• Due to the 24x7 operations of the business must be able to work a flexible work schedule which may include nights weekends holidays

• Performance troubleshooting working knowledge of resource monitoring tools

• Prepare security reports and documentation

• Serve as the primary contact for critical and high server based outages and communicates the status of the outage to infrastructure management which may include after hour support

Required Qualification:

Bachelor of Engineering Bachelor of Technology (B.E./B.Tech.)
