Prepare food items and serve food to tenants within a scheduled time frame. Follow the menu cycle noting changes or substitutions made. Maintain cleanliness of production and service areas and ensure adequate supplies are on hand. Assure compliance with the state sanitation code. Maintain inventory control verify orders received assuring needed goods are on hand. Supervise food service functions. Maintain quality of food served quantity prepared and sanitation of food preparation area. Assure that the tenants food needs and preferences are known. Assure staff tenant and guest meals are accounted for daily. Maintain meal service records as required. Report problems concerns issues observed with food service and communicate them appropriately. Observe changes in tenant status needs or preferences and communicate them appropriately. Observe all work safety and administrative rules. Adhere to all established policies and procedures. Record tenant information as required. Avoid loss breakages and waste of supplies and equipment. Demonstrate knowledge of and adhere to procedures for fire life safety disaster security worker safety and other emergency procedures. Attend mandatory inservice training. Maintain nutritional requirements needed for state certification. Maintain confidentiality.
Requirements

- Perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and assist in other areas where staffing shortages exist.
