Business Development - Motor Agency

We are hiring Sales Manager Virtual Office (SMVO) for one of the Large General Insurance Company. The SM VO will be responsible for developing and expanding the motor insurance agency network within their designated area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in motor products within the agency domain a strong network in the specified area and the ability to drive sales and foster relationships with dealerships and commercial loan providers.

Reporting To: Area Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Agency Development: Develop and expand the motor insurance agency network in the assigned area. Identify and recruit potential motor insurance agents to build a robust and effective sales force.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with local dealerships to promote motor insurance products. Act as the primary point of contact for all agency partners providing exceptional service and support.
• Sales and Business Development: Achieve sales targets and business objectives as set by the regional office. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase market share and profitability.
• Reporting and Compliance: Report regularly to the Area Manager on sales performance market trends and any issues affecting the business.
• Local Presence: Operate primarily from the specified location ensuring a strong local presence.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the motor insurance industry particularly in the agency domain.
• Experience in handling dealership networks and a strong local network in the specified area.
• Experience in commercial loans with a focus on crossselling GI motor products is a plus.
• Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Finance or a related field.
