We are a leading Recruitment Company based in Colombo Sri Lanka and we are in search for a Business Development Executive to join our team.
This role involves visiting customers across the country with a specific focus on industrial zones to generate new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in relationship building a targetoriented mindset and a high level of integrity. Experience in the electrical sector particularly in medium and low voltage areas is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit customers in various locations with an emphasis on industrial zones to identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients.
- Understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions to meet their requirements with the support of Engineering teams.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and seamless service delivery.
- Provide regular reports on customer visits business opportunities and market trends.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 35 years proven experience in a business development or sales role preferably in the electrical sector.
- Strong relationshipbuilding skills with the ability to connect with customers and understand their needs.
- Demonstrated perseverance and a targetoriented approach to achieving sales goals.
- High level of integrity and professionalism in all interactions.
- Experience in medium and low voltage areas is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel extensively across the country.
