An established multidisciplined consulting firm is adding a talented Professional Land Surveyor to their St. Paul team!
Responsibilities:
- Gather survey related field information used to prepare survey maps and engineering plans/specifications
- Perform computations reduction of field notes filing/retrieving prints running prints and other office duties
- Assist with municipal plan preparation construction observation and staking
- Assist with rightofway/transportation project plats (TPP s)
- Private site street and utility project construction staking
- Bridge/hydraulic surveys of rivers and stream channels
- Perform project management duties (estimating scoping research scheduling quality control)
- Mentor/train junior staff
- Perform office functions as needed
- Prepare topographic surveys of municipality and state/county highways
Requirements:
- Associates Degree in surveying or a related field
- 6 years of experience including survey equipment techniques data collection/delivery engineering and construction
- PLS required (dual in Minnesota and Wisconsin preferred)
- Understanding of project management tasks
Salary is commensurate with experience.
