We are currently hiring a Mental Health Associate (MHA) for overnight shifts to provide crisis intervention suicide risk assessments and psychoeducational services. You will work under the supervision of a licensed professional and play a critical role in supporting individuals with behavioral health issues. This position is responsible for developing community reentry plans reducing recidivism risk and ensuring a smooth transition back into the community for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide crisis intervention rapid response and suicide risk assessments.
Deliver individual and group psychoeducation on managing health/behavioral health issues and reducing recidivism risk.
Develop and coordinate community reentry plans to address risk factors linked to recidivism in the criminal justice system.
Maintain uptodate knowledge of community resources to support patient transition.
Complete suicide risk assessments biopsychosocial evaluations and clinical reports under the supervision of an independently licensed professional.
Coordinate care with family community providers and other relevant parties for effective treatment and reentry plans.
Manage requests for Court Ordered Evaluations (COE) with community providers and testify in court as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in behavioral health social services or a related field (transcripts or diploma required).
At least one year of experience in a similar role.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in crisis intervention or working with individuals involved in the criminal justice system is a plus.
