Overview:
The Recruiter plays a pivotal role in talent acquisition by sourcing screening and selecting qualified candidates to meet the organizations staffing needs. They are responsible for ensuring a seamless recruitment process and fostering positive candidate experiences to attract top talent to the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies
- Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and job boards)
- Screen resumes and application forms to identify qualified candidates
- Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates
- Assess applicants relevant knowledge skills soft skills experience and aptitudes
- Manage the endtoend recruitment process including job posting sourcing and offer negotiation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders
- Network and build longterm relationships with past and potential candidates
- Advertise job openings on company s careers page social media job boards and internally
- Provide analytical and welldocumented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
- Act as a consultant to new hires and help them through the onboarding process
- Ensure compliance with all federal state and local regulations and best practices regarding recruitment
- Conduct regular followup with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation
- Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in stateoftheart recruiting practices
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Human Resources Business Administration or relevant field
- Proven work experience as a Recruiter (either an inhouse recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter)
- Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured competencybased stress etc)
- Handson experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing reference check etc)
- Familiarity with HR databases Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
- Handson experience with social media recruitment
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong decisionmaking skills
- Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with relevant employment laws and regulations
- Certification in Recruitment or Human Resources is a plus
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
