Sambla Group is currently looking to strengthen our Corporate Development team in Stockholm with an ESG Manager. The role will own the ESG strategy together with the Chief Corporate Development Officer and in a proactive manner implement compliance of ESG legislation and regulations i.e. CSRD and EU Taxonomy. Also the position will be in charge of the ESGrelated policies guidelines and tools for crossfunctional departments. The ESG Manager will be working closely with the Group Accounting & Reporting Compliance and Strategy teams in business projects and proactively manage ESG data in such projects.
Other than the above the roles will include:
Deploy and oversee ESG projects related to Sambla Groups daily business e.g. supply chain management.
Create and monitor ESGrelated KPIs to make sure Sambla Group is on track towards its sustainability goals.
Coordinate timely and accurate collection of input data from across the organization and external stakeholders (i.e third parties)
Regular reporting of sustainability data to internal and external stakeholders (i.e. Board Exec. Mgmt and lenders)
Lead the production of Sambla Groups Annual Sustainability Report
Charing Sambla Groups ESG Committee and own agenda and preparation of meeting material
For the role we are looking for strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. Analytical skills and strong social abilities are critical due to frequent interaction with stakeholders and the need for collaboration. We also see the ability to work strategically and provide business insights to support longterm business decisions as crucial.
Must have:
35 years of similar role and/or management consulting experience with sustainability focus
Prior experience of ESG legislation and regulations (i.e. CSRD and EU Taxonomy)
Strong Excel and PowerPoint Skills
Fluent in Swedish and English both written and spoken
Nice to have:
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerBi
Proficiency in Thinkcell
Formerly employed or contracted by a Financial services company (including Fintech)
