Job Description
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and consolidate financial statements according to GAAP.
- Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor variances between actual and budgeted financial results.
- Provide recommendations to management on financial performance and budget management.
General Ledger and Reconciliation:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Prepare journal entries and ensure accurate coding of transactions.
- Review and analyze accounts for discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
Financial Analysis and Audit Support:
- Conduct financial analysis and prepare adhoc financial reports.
- Support external audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Tax Compliance:
- Prepare and file tax returns (income sales/use property etc.) accurately and timely.
- Stay updated on tax regulations and ensure compliance with tax laws.
Process Improvement and Systems Enhancement:
- Streamline accounting processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Assist in system implementations and enhancements.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification preferred. X years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with X years in a senior accountant or equivalent position. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g.,TALLY ERP PRIME ) and MS Excel. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
