Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in IBDP Economics ensuring alignment with the curriculum and learning objectives
• Mentor and guide students in the development and completion of their Extended Essays offering support and feedback throughout the process
• Design and implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and attainment of learning outcomes
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary approaches and ensure a wellrounded educational experience for students
• Provide academic and pastoral support to students addressing their individual learning needs and fostering a positive learning environment
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching practices and stay updated on educational best practices and trends
• Contribute to the development and review of the IBDP Economics curriculum incorporating innovative approaches and realworld applications
• Engage with parents and stakeholders to provide insights into student progress and to foster a collaborative educational partnership
• Facilitate discussions and activities that encourage critical thinking analysis and application of economic concepts
• Supervise and support students in their exploration of economic theories and realworld case studies for their Extended Essays
• Organize and participate in extracurricular activities related to Economics and academic enrichment
• Stay abreast of advancements in Economics global economic trends and their implications integrating such knowledge into the curriculum

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Economics Education or related field
• Teaching certification or qualification in the relevant subject area
• Proven experience in teaching IBDP Economics with a track record of student success
• Experience guiding students through the Extended Essay process and facilitating highquality research
• Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students parents and colleagues
• Proficiency in utilizing technology for teaching and learning purposes
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
