Raytheons Global Patriot Program is seeking an Associate Director Incountry Management / Logistics Support to lead Bahrains OCONUS team and provide logistics support to the Bahrain Defense Force. As the Incountry Lead you will be the main point of contact for the Bahrain commanders and maintenance officers for any issues or requests relating to Patriot operations or maintenance in Bahrain current contract performance Raytheon personnel or new business.

Additionally you will have principal authority for support and maintenance of the Patriot System provide supervision and mentoring to all Raytheon Field Engineering personnel champion Raytheons standards of conduct and promote a culture of inclusion and collaboration within the Bahrain team.

The Incountry Lead will also be the Logistics Support Manager to the Bahrain Defense Force responsible for ensuring all manuals spares test equipment and staffing are in place to support ongoing Fire Unit & Battalion operations. Spares support includes resolving spare parts supply and restock issues.

You will also advise the Bahrain commanders and officers on spares maintenance and other logistical matters. In addition to providing On the Job Training (OJT) to Bahrain technicians for support aspects of the PATRIOT system that occur during operation. As well as work with the CONUS supply chain to purchase resources test equipment and consumables that are needed to support spares tracking administration and warehousing.

This accompanied onsite role will be in Manama Bahrain on a longterm deployment assignment with additional compensation.

What You Will Do

  • Lead guide and mentor project staff to develop and enhance business financial management and project management skills and to entrench and improve inter and intra team collaboration to maintain and grow the capability and capacity of the team.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement by the design development and implementation of projects to create efficiencies within the company.
  • Manage the daytoday program processes and program management compliance measures including Export / Import (EX/IM).
  • Provide technical guidance to personnel of supported units/activities to assist establish and maintain adequate stockage levels for mission accomplishment.
  • Support periodic inventories of stockage supply items advises Bahrain Defense Force on actions for disposition of excesses and makes recommendations for changes to the authorized stockage list (ASL).
  • Interact with senior stakeholders on program status and direction.
  • Develop effective relationships with the US Office of Military Cooperation (OMC) in Bahrain and the Bahrain Defense Force.
  • Act in accordance with the companys Code of Conduct relating to professional organization behavior maintaining confidentiality and health and safety.
  • Support an environment that promotes sharing of best practice information and collaborative behaviors.

Travel Requirements

  • International and domestic business travel is necessary.

Employment is contingent upon meeting all medical requirements for overseas assignment including comprehensive postoffer medical examination.

Special Work Circumstances

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and work in an extreme environment.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelors and a minimum of 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years experience.
  • Experience with Logistics Air Defense in a successfully deployed PATRIOT Fire Unit & Battalion.
  • Experience with supply support procedures in accordance with company policy in a remote location.
  • Experience supporting audits logbook reviews and maintenance test equipment.
  • Experience managing and guiding a dispersed team.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Bachelors in program management business management contracts supply chain or related field.
  • Experience developing an OCONUS team in the MENA region.
  • Experience working closely with both US government organizations and the Bahrain Defense customer.
  • Experience developing strategies for and/or executing program sustainment efforts (i.e. technical assistance spares R&R training and logistics).
  • Experience in Patriot Configuration III supply chain maintenance procedures and terminology.
  • Experience in International Patriot Foreign Military Sales Programs.
  • Experience working with military logistics and supply chain systems.
  • Excellent collaborator and ability to be an effective international leader.
  • Excellent computer skills in ALCS UNIX and Windows operating systems.
  • Excellent communication skills working in a team member / customer environment.
  • Comprehension of basic computer skills.

The salary range for this role is 143000 USD 287000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
