Chief Accountant Industrial Field

Jadeer is hiring on behalf of one of our global clients in Egypt. Our client is one of the leading companies in the industrial sector.

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Chief Accountant to oversee financial management and operations within the industrial field. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial strategy compliance and management within a complex fastpaced industrial environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including financial reporting accounts payable/receivable payroll and auditing.
• Develop and implement financial strategies and policies to ensure financial health and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor and analyse accounting data to produce financial reports and statements in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Prepare budget forecasts track financial performance against the budget and provide regular reports to senior management.
• Ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded filed and reported in a timely manner.
• Coordinate and lead the annual audit process liaise with external auditors and assess changes for necessary improvement in financial controls.
• Develop and enhance internal controls streamline accounting processes and promote efficiency.
• Provide financial insights and make recommendations to support business decisionmaking and improve profitability.
• Oversee tax filings manage tax liabilities and ensure compliance with national and local regulations.
• Train mentor and supervise accounting staff ensuring continuous professional development.

Chief Accountant Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field; a Masters degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 58 years of experience in accounting with at least 3 years in a senior accounting role within the industrial sector.
• Indepth knowledge of corporate finance principles and procedures.
• Experience with financial reporting budget preparation and management accounting.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organisational leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal with proficiency in English.
• Commitment to maintaining ethical standards and promoting integrity in financial practices.

Working Conditions for a Chief Accountant

• Working Hours: 9 AM 5 PM (Sunday to Thursday).
• Working Model: Onsite.
• Job Location: Belbis Sharqia Egypt.
