Position: Risk & Issue Project Manager
Location: Sacramento CA
Duration: Long Term
Client: State of CA

Work closely with Senior PM Project Director and Project Team
Team Building with all internal and external stakeholders
Estimate task resource requirements and completion estimates
Develop project and contract deliverables within resource estimates
Track project and contract deliverable progress
Develop monthly project reports
Develop ad hoc reports
Develop and/or conduct project communications (e.g. Intranet content newsletter etc.)
Track project and task progress
Develop and conduct project briefings as requested
Maintain detailed WBS and Project Schedule
Maintain and implement project communication plan

Projectdefined deliverables
Weekly status meetings with updated agendas minutes and action items
Weekly updates to risk and issue tracking logs WBS etc.
Project briefings
Project status reports
Prepare projectrelated announcements and facilitate LunchnLearn sessions
Updated project documents

A minimum of three (3) years of experience (5 years preferred) providing diverse technical and management services to government agencies.

A minimum of three (3) years (5 years preferred) of broad and extensive project management (PM) experience successfully managing information technology (IT) programs and projects.

A minimum of three (3) years experience (5 years preferred) team building knowledge transfer and/or mentoring experience.

A minimum of three (3) years of experience (5 years preferred) leading and facilitating team meetings.

A minimum of three (3) years of experience (5 years preferred) in the following:

Consulting experience for a project worth at least $2M ($5M preferred)

A minimum of five (5) years of experience in the following: Schedule management and Microsoft (MS) Project Risk and issue management Stakeholder management Scope and change management Business process review and gap analysis Consulting experience for a project worth at least $5M

PREFERRED A minimum of two (2) years of experience in planning and managing Salesforce implementations

PREFERRED A minimum of two (2) years of experience with implementation of Salesforce Customer Community for Public Sector Organizations for the State of California.

Bachelors degree (Masters or Doctorate degree preferred) from an accredited college or university. (Attach a copy of the diploma.)

REQUIRED Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification issued by the Project Management Institute (PMI). (Attach a copy of the PMP certification.)
