Job Description

FILINVEST COMPANY: HOSPITALITY ENTERPRISE RESOURCES CORP.

Position Summary:

The purpose of the job is to ensure that the company financial records documents and other highly confidential matters relating to finance and accounting are compliant to the Philippine Accounting Standards established procedures company policies departmental guidelines and regulatory requirements as may be deemed applicable.

The Service Manager is responsible for delivering and achieving the service level agreements performance metrics and KPIs of the shared service team identifying and leading process improvement initiatives to achieve business goals and targets. As a service manager and people manager he/she will be responsible for reviewing and monitoring staff performance as well as coaching and talent development.

Moreover the Service Manager will be responsible for building relationships and managing stakeholders to meet business goals and objectives.


Scopes and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain confidentiality of all documents materials and all information in relation to assigned duties and other company matters.
  • Prepare and submit financial analysis/reports/department/segment reporting and financial statements of entities/affiliates and properties.
  • Prepare and submit department/business segment and entity/affiliate department budgets and forecasts in accordance with internal reporting requirements.
  • Prepare and submit other internal reports as may be necessary including but not limited to performance metrics such as KPIs (key performance indicators) and SLAs (service level agreements).
  • Comply with FHC/FDC/FLI/FAI/Internal Audit/HERC reporting requirements
  • Comply with External reporting requirements (BIR/SEC/Local Govt/External Audit)
  • Establish and/or update Accounting Policies and Procedures.
  • Process Improvement to include: FICO System (Business Central) automation of manual processes standardization of processes
  • Assist in the implementation of initiatives to improve/ simplify/ automate processes.
  • Task force/ AdHoc assignment to properties during the period when the Tournant Financial Controller/Service Executive position is vacant or for new scope/entities/properties.
  • Facilitate operations review presentation
  • Take the lead in coordinating the completion of audited financial statements and in implementing audit recommendations.
  • Prepare and/or assist with the compliance to statutory requirements such as BIR tax regulations and IPO Trademarks applications/renewals.

Competencies and Skills Required:

  • Good understanding of local languages
  • Oral and written proficiency in English
  • Proven working experience in General Accounting Financial Analysis and Reporting.
  • Proficient in spreadsheets databases MS Office and Accounting software applications (MS Business Central IFCA)
  • Outstanding presentation reporting and communication skills
  • Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis corporate finance and information analysis
  • Knowledgeable in PFRS tax laws updates money market and business environment

Qualifications:

  • College graduate/ University degree of BS Accountancy
  • Minimum of total 10 years experience prior Supervisory/Managerial experience of at least 2 staff with 3 years experience in financial reporting and analysis
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Certified Financial Analyst (CFC)
