EMAIL AND SMS RETENTION MANAGER

We are a Los Angelesbased clothing brand made for a community of optimists born in 2017. We use apparel events and experimental retail spaces – including its permanent flagship in West Hollywood – to explore a personal expression as a means to an improved state of mind. Its own seasonal stores – with past and present locations including New York City (Soho) Aspen Miami East Hampton and Tokyo – are each designed to reflect their site while still sharing the brand’s DNA. The brand currently produces a selection of everevolving evergreen classic styles seasonally available collections and collaborations. We support research and awareness in mental health through OurFoundation (a 501c(3) nonprofit) and writes Local Optimist a print magazine. Each to celebrate us as worksinprogress and the personal and collective expression that is a part of that.

About the job

We are seeking a skilled and strategic Email and SMS Retention Manager to lead our customer retention efforts through email and SMS channels. This role is crucial in maintaining and strengthening our relationships with customers driving repeat purchases and maximizing customer lifetime value.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive email and SMS marketing strategies to retain and engage existing customers with a focus on driving repeat purchases and increasing customer lifetime value
  • Create and manage email and SMS marketing campaigns from concept to execution including campaign planning content creation segmentation scheduling and analysis
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including marketing product and customer service to ensure alignment of messaging and goals across channels
  • Utilize customer data and segmentation strategies to personalize and target email and SMS communications effectively
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics such as open rates clickthrough rates conversion rates and revenue generated and use insights to optimize campaign performance and drive continuous improvement
  • Implement A/B testing methodologies to optimize subject lines content timing and other elements of email and SMS campaigns
  • Stay informed about industry trends best practices and emerging technologies in email and SMS marketing and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and optimization

About you

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing communications business or a related field
  • 4 years of experience in email and SMS marketing preferably in a retail or ecommerce environment
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful email and SMS marketing campaigns that drive measurable results
  • Strong understanding of email and SMS marketing best practices including segmentation personalization automation and deliverability
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms (Klaviyo) and SMS marketing platforms (Attentive)
  • Experience with marketing analytics tools and data analysis to track and optimize campaign performance
