Job description Associate Fundraising and Partnerships
About Rocket Learning:
Rocket Learning is a highgrowth edtech nonprofit with the mission of catalyzing early childhood education and community engagement in India. We work with the central government and state governments to impact over 2.5mn children. Established by a passionate founding group (IIT IIM HBS Rochester MBB startup alumni) board and backed by reputed funders we are a diverse team of passionate energetic and optimistic folks with a shared ambition of transforming India s education system.
Title: Associate Fundraising and Partnerships
Experience: 12 Years
Location Hybrid preferred locations Delhi and Bangalore
Overview: We are currently looking for an Associate Fundraising and Partnerships to support the Fundraising and Partnerships Lead and the Cofounders. The candidate will be expected to assist in establishing growing and leading partnerships with key investors and stakeholders at a state national and global level.
Key Results
1.Assist in identifying and engaging in funding and partnership opportunities with international donors NGOs and government partners.
2. Support relationship management with key ecosystem partners maintaining excellent relationships and identifying opportunities for mutually beneficial partnerships.
3. Contribute to building and sustaining strong relationships and partnerships with key
government and civil society officials stakeholders and advocates.
4. Support the entire team in seeing the value and their role in fundraising and partnerships.
Key Activities
1.Assist in the investor partnerships value chain (ranging across developing special initiatives with different investors monitoring implementation conducting analysis and preparing reports to manage relationships with the investors).
2. Support the development of strategic partnerships and collaborations with governments and innovative organizations in the education space to develop cuttingedge solutions.
3. Manage communications and relationships with Board members advisors impact funds foundations HNIs and CSR organizations.
4. Help develop implement and maintain a detailed fundraising strategy pipeline and plan to grow and supplement current revenue streams.
5. Actively identify and nurture potential donors and funding windows through landscape mapping networking and relationship building.
6. Build and maintain relationships with previous and potential funding partners and work with them to develop proposals and budgets that align with both our strategy and that of the funder.
7.Research investors and understand critical requirements for each investor.
8. Represent Rocket Learning at national and international events and symposia to create greater visibility and a partnerships and advocacy pipeline.
9.Assist in designing and conducting investor events to develop relationships with new partners and leverage the national focus on foundational skills.
10. Perform any other activities required to generate funds and develop partnerships to enable the exponential expansion of Rocket Learning.

Critical Factors for Success
1.Seamless communication with the Lead cofounders team and colleagues.
2. Education qualification: Minimum graduate with 12 years of work experience.
3. Demonstrating successful fundraising/partnership e orts in the ECCE space is desirable
4. Close alignment with Rocket Learnings core values and principles.
5. Missiondriven enthusiastic and optimistic committed to transformation.
6. Enjoyment and ability to handle multiple projects and solve problems in a highgrowth entrepreneurial environment.
