Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and detailoriented Clerical Assistant with basic accounting experience to support our administrative and accounting functions. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of clerical tasks and assist with basic accounting duties. If you are organized proactive and eager to contribute to a dynamic team we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general clerical duties including photocopying faxing mailing and filing.
  • Maintain and update electronic and paper records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Answer and direct phone calls and respond to emails and other correspondence.
  • Assist with data entry and ensure the accuracy of information in various systems.
  • Support the accounting department with basic accounting tasks such as processing invoices and expense reports.
  • Assist in preparing financial documents reports and statements.
  • Manage office supplies and ensure the smooth operation of office equipment.
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments meetings and events.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned to support the office.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or coursework in accounting is a plus.
  • 12 years of experience in a clerical or administrative role; basic accounting experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Positive attitude and a team player mentality.
