Identifying technical related risks and their impact on the project & mitigate their effects in the preparation of detailed layouts and sections for switchyards and control buildings for substations from 11kV to 230 kV.
Calculating static and short circuit forces, earthing system, lightning protection system, busbar sizing, conductors, and cables sizing.
Preparing input data for steel structures, clamps & fittings, and civil design. Reviewing of steel structure, clamps & fittings, and civil design.

Background
Bachelor’s degree in electrical (Power Systems) or Mechanical engineering Or Civil Structural engineering.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in in the field of primary design specifically for HV Substations.
Required good knowledge of related products and systems (HV / MV switchgear, transformers, relays & protection, etc).
Required good knowledge in AutoCAD drafting, primary materials such as steel structures, clamps, fittings, insulators, conductors, trays, ladders, and installation accessories.
Good knowledge in RIVIT is preferred.
Required knowledge and experience in substation general design, engineering, and construction.
Required good communication, leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills.
