During your tenure as an ABAC Compliance Specialist, your responsibilities will involve:

  • Independently overseeing projects and managing the team members. Ensure the work is conducted with high quality standards and minimal supervision.
  • Most of the projects would involve understanding and applying the knowledge for ABAC and FCPA rules and regulations.
  • Review of clients’ compliance related policies and procedures and benchmarking against international and local standards.
  • Assist clients in identifying gaps in their ABAC framework and providing recommendations based on best practice and international standards & rules and regulations.
  • Updating the knowledge base through research on sector & solution focused best practices, relevant local and international laws & guidelines, etc.
  • Participating and leading in client meetings.
  • Drafting engagement deliverables/reports and subsequent presentation to client management and/or executive.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as accounting & finance, law, etc.
  • Professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountant, CIA, CFE etc. required.
  • 4+ years of relevant forensic or internal audit experience in Big4/ other consulting firms or compliance / fraud / integrity / internal audit function of any organization.
  • Advanced user knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is mandatory.
  • Previous experience in health sciences audits / investigations is required.
  • Experience in managing third-party ABAC / compliance reviews as well as FCPA investigations (within the pharma, life sciences or technology industry) is required.
  • Experience in ESG assessments / investigations is preferred
