Accounts amp Taxation Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewing financial records and documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Preparing and filing tax returns for individuals businesses and other entities.
• Conducting audits to verify the accuracy of tax returns and to identify any discrepancies or potential tax evasion.
• Providing guidance and assistance to taxpayers regarding their tax obligations and rights.
• Investigating and resolving taxrelated issues including disputes and appeals.
• Keeping abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations and ensuring compliance with new requirements.
• Collaborating with other departments such as finance and legal to address tax implications of business activities and transactions.
• Assisting with tax planning and strategy development to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial outcomes.
• Maintaining accurate and uptodate records of tax filings payments and correspondence.
• Representing the organization in meetings with tax authorities and other relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Must know how to make tax dataand file sales tax and WHT taxreturns
• Must know how to use ERPs like Quickbooks
• Minimum bachelors degree in accounting and finance;Qualification like ACCA will be a bonus
• Required experience around 45 years
