Job Description
We are seeking a detailoriented and efficient individual to join our team as a Packer. The Packer will be responsible for carefully packing items according to company standards. The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment and maintain a high level of accuracy throughout the packing process.
Responsibilities of the Position:
- Efficiently and accurately pack items for shipment according to packing lists and instructions.
- Ensure that all items are properly packaged to prevent damage during transit.
- Organize and prepare items for packing including sorting labeling and inspecting for quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of packing area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Assist with inventory management by accurately counting and recording items packed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily packing goals and deadlines.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies with packing materials or inventory to the supervisor.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and quality control.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in packing or warehouse environment preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
