MS SQL Developer

We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Senior MS SQL Developer to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of handson experience in SQL Server database development and administration. You will be responsible for designing implementing and optimizing complex database solutions to meet the needs of our clients.

• Database Design and Development:

  • Design develop and maintain robust MS SQL Server databases.
  • Create and optimize complex stored procedures functions views and triggers.

• Performance Tuning:

  • Monitor and optimize database performance and ensure high levels of performance availability and security.
  • Analyze and resolve database performance issues including query tuning and indexing.

• Data Integration and ETL:

  • Design and implement ETL processes for data integration from various sources.
  • Develop and maintain SSIS packages for data transformation and loading.

• Database Administration:

  • Perform regular database maintenance tasks such as backups restores and integrity checks.
  • Implement and maintain database security including user roles and permissions.

• Collaboration:

  • Work closely with application developers system administrators and other stakeholders to design and implement database solutions.
  • Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning and daily standups.

• Documentation and Support:

  • Document database designs processes and procedures.
  • Provide technical support and mentoring to junior database developers and administrators.

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in MS SQL Server database development and administration.
  • Expertise in SQL query optimization and performance tuning.
  • Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
  • Familiarity with data modeling and database design principles.
  • Proficient in using version control systems (e.g. Git).

• Experience with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
• Familiarity with cloud databases (Azure SQL Database AWS RDS for SQL Server).

• Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g. Jenkins Docker).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python PowerShell).

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
