IoT Developer

Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced IoT Developer with a strong background in electrical engineering to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience in IoT development and extensive knowledge of electrical engineering principles. This role involves designing developing and implementing advanced IoT solutions that integrate both hardware and software components to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. IoT Solution Design and Development:

Lead the design and development of IoT solutions including hardware components embedded systems and software applications.

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Develop and maintain IoT applications with a focus on scalability reliability and security.

2. Hardware Integration and Development:

Design prototype and test hardware components such as sensors actuators and communication modules.

Develop and optimize firmware for embedded systems and microcontrollers.

Ensure seamless integration of hardware components with software applications using standard communication protocols (e.g. MQTT CoAP HTTP/HTTPS).

3. Electrical Engineering Tasks:

Perform circuit design PCB layout and hardware debugging.

Conduct electrical testing and validation to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with the manufacturing team to transition designs from prototype to production.

4. Cloud and Data Management:

Develop cloudbased applications for data collection storage and analysis.

Implement data processing pipelines and analytics to derive actionable insights.

Ensure data integrity and security in compliance with industry standards.

5. Testing and Quality Assurance:

Conduct thorough testing and validation of IoT solutions to ensure they meet functional and performance requirements.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware firmware and software components.

Implement automated testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.

6. Documentation and Support:

Create comprehensive technical documentation for hardware designs software code and system architectures.

Provide technical support and training to internal teams and clients.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends technologies and best practices in IoT development and electrical engineering.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Science or a related field.

4 years of experience in IoT development with a strong focus on both hardware and software components.

Proficiency in programming languages such as C C Python or Java.

Extensive experience with embedded systems development and realtime operating systems (RTOS).

Strong knowledge of IoT communication protocols (e.g. MQTT CoAP HTTP/HTTPS).

Handson experience with cloud platforms such as AWS IoT Azure IoT or Google Cloud IoT.

Expertise in circuit design PCB layout and hardware debugging.

Familiarity with database systems and data analytics tools.

Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
