Job Description
Cloud Infrastructure & Database Management:
- Proven experience managing operations on cloudbased infrastructure environments particularly Azure.
- Expertise in administering and managing Azure databases including PostgreSQL Redis Cache MongoDB and Cosmos DB.
- Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL database administration and optimization including system optimization through database restructuring and performance tuning.
Database Management & Optimization:
- Thorough understanding of database design principles performance tuning techniques and optimization strategies.
- Experience performing database updates and migrations ensuring smooth data transition.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving complex database performance issues.
- Skilled in applying database patches upgrades and migrations to maintain database security and functionality.
Automation & ProblemSolving:
- Experience working with or in an automated operations environment to streamline database processes.
- Ability to investigate and troubleshoot databaserelated issues including connectivity problems performance degradation and data inconsistencies.
- Adept at providing timely resolution and root cause analysis for database incidents.
Secondary Skills:
- Azure SQL
- SQL MI
- Linux/Windows OS
