Job Description

Overview:

The Business Development Executive (BDE) in Edtech Sales plays a crucial role in driving the growth of the organization by identifying generating and closing new business opportunities within the education technology sector. The BDE will be responsible for designing and implementing strategic sales plans building and maintaining client relationships and achieving revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Edtech sector.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key decisionmakers in educational institutions.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends competitive offerings and potential new markets.
  • Create compelling sales pitches and presentations to effectively communicate the value proposition to clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to close business deals.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with product offerings.
  • Attend industry events conferences and trade shows to build a network and generate leads.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Edtech sales.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successful sales experience in the Edtech industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong understanding of the education technology market.
  • Ability to build and maintain longterm client relationships.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software to manage sales pipeline and activities.
  • Strategic thinking and resultoriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
