Job Description
Term: PermanentDays Scrub pan monitor assist in ambulatory bay as well as inpatient assist with ICD and pacemaker placement
Responsibilities:
Performs functions of Cardiac Catheterization Tech I.
Assists Cardiologist during diagnostic cardiac catheterization but has additional knowledge and skills to assist during complex coronary interventional procedures utilizing adjunctive therapies in the treatment of coronary artery disease.
Assists in the maintenance of cath lab inventory.
Assists with training and orientation of new staff.
Assists with development review and implementation of policies and procedures.
Participates in Quality Assessment and Improvement.
May be required to work flexible hours and overtime during peak periods.
Participates in the oncall roster.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Cath Lab Coordinator or Heart Program Director.
