The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating leads from startups seeking funding building and maintaining relationships with these startups and converting these leads into successful funding deals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales excellent networking abilities and a deep understanding of the startup ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation:
- Identify and generate leads for startups that require funding.
- Use various channels including networking events social media and industry conferences to find potential clients.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract startups seeking investment.
Relationship Building:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with startup founders and key decisionmakers.
- Act as the main point of contact between our company and potential startup clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
Sales Conversion:
- Conduct an indepth needs analysis to understand the funding requirements of each startup.
- Present and explain our companys services and how we can assist in raising funds.
- Negotiate terms and close deals to convert leads into sales.
Market Research:
- Stay informed about industry trends the competitive landscape and potential opportunities in the startup ecosystem.
- Provide insights and feedback to improve our services and strategies.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing team to create compelling materials and campaigns to attract potential clients.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in business marketing finance or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development sales or a related role preferably within the startup ecosystem.
- Strong network within the startup community and experience in connecting with investors.
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and articulate financial requirements and solutions.
- Selfmotivated goaloriented and able to handle multiple priorities.
