Job Description

The file transfer engineer will join the Global File ServicesEngineering group which manages the shared file transfer platforms used by the Company to transfer files internally and externally. The file transfer engineers main responsibilities will be as follows:

• Enhancement of the shared file transfer platforms used by the Company with the addition of file scanning capabilities
• Lead the technical design development and documentation of crossfunctional multiplatform distributed application systems
• Analyze define and document requirements for data workflow and logical processes and interfaces with other systems
• Ensure that expected application performance levels are achieved by coordinating coding testing change implementation and documentation

Required Skills/Experience

• 1015 years of relevant work experience required
• Extensive experience with developing and supporting distributed applications
• Extensive knowledge of the companys total computing environment including all key IT functions interdependencies and business impact of future IT plans
