Job Description

Position : LatAm Accounting Operations Manager

Working Hours : Monday to Friday 95pm US Central Time

Salary Range : $5000 $6000/ month

Holiday : TBD

About the job:

The Accounting Manager will oversee the monthend close process for our clients ensuring accuracy and timeliness. This role requires excellent communication skills attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple clients effectively.

We entirely specialize in the direct to consumer ecommerce industry. The position is both management of process and people but also executing tasks themselves.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the monthend close process for multiple clients ensuring all financial data is accurate and complete.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Learning about clients' business operations.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information.
  • Implementing process process for client to ensure data accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
  • Improve process internally
  • Work with and manage the bookkeeping team
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
  • Minimum of 512 years of accounting experience with a focus on consumer goods SMBs and/OR consulting
  • Prior consumer goods / inventory accounting experience
  • Prior experience managing accounting functions for SMB clients.
  • Strong experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) required
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel Slack and Asana
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly detailoriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Experience:

  • CPA or equivalent certification
  • Prior consulting experience / working as an outsourced service provider
  • Experience in the directtoconsumer ecommerce industry would be highly beneficial.
  • Experience with consumer products is highly valuable.
  • Familiarity with additional accounting software and tools.
