Themis Recruit are seeking an experienced and dedicated Private Client Fee Earner to join an esteemed law firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of private client matters ensuring the highest level of service and support to our clients. This role requires excellent legal knowledge attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships. the successful candidate will have at least 3 years PQE and experience in court of protection wills and trusts estate administration and lasting powers of attorney.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Management
- Provide expert legal advice to clients on all aspects of private client law including wills probate estate planning trusts and powers of attorney.
Manage a diverse caseload from initial instruction through to completion ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and meetings.
Act as a primary point of contact for clients addressing any queries or concerns promptly and professionally.
Ensure all files and records are maintained in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Maintain uptodate knowledge of changes in private client law and practice and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.
Prepare accurate and detailed billing information and ensure timely invoicing of clients.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the firm to share knowledge and support best practices.
Requirements
Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 3 years PQE in private client law.
Proven experience in handling a broad range of private client matters independently.
Strong understanding of lasting powers of attorney court of protection wills and trusts and estate administration.
Excellent drafting and legal research skills.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex legal matters in a clear and understandable manner.
High level of professionalism with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in legal case management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
