Manage and implement Category Management process involves procurement end to end process starts with strategic sourcing Bidding pre & post award activities until end of warranty supplier relationship management and cost optimization collaborates with crossfunctional teams and engages with internal and external stakeholders to drive value and enhance the overall performance of the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and formulate the strategies for strategic sourcing for each category.
- Establish market research and analysis to identify market trends demand forecast supply market analysis price database and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage and identify the category strategy.
- Review and incorporate all findings from Internal and external audit i.e. GIA audit PONC audit client audit & etc and to ensure it shall not be repetitive in the next critical packages.
- Strategize the ITB/ TBE & CBE activities during the sourcing bidding & Pre PO activities.
- Strategize and drive sourcing bidding and the procurement process from requisition to delivery ensuring the timely acquisition of goods and services while meeting high standards of quality and cost with a specific focus on critical and highvalue packages.
- Drive and Formulate OSS (Overall Sourcing Strategy) & OCS (Overall Contracting Strategy) for category.
- Manage cost benefit analysis and benchmarking negotiate contracts terms and conditions during bidding prePO and post PO activities.
- Review and oversee expediting strategies to ensure expediting & SI plan executed base on approved OSS (Overall Sourcing Strategy) and OCS (Overall Contracting Strategy) (Material)
- Review and monitor quality of delivered items from receiving until final commissioning for each Category (Material)
- Review and oversee MMLW (Material Management Logistic & Warehouse) strategies to ensure that it comply with OSS & OCS (Material/Services)
- Review and oversee Post Award Activities Bank Guarantee Final Contract (Services)
- Review regular performance assessments and implement improvement plans as needed with a specific focus on critical and highvalue packages.
Requirements
- Degree in Supply Chain Management / Engineering / Science or other professionalrelated qualification.
- Minimum 8 years experience in Supply Chain Management in heavy industry.
