Product Development Manager

Our client seeks a dynamic and innovative Product Development Manager to join its team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our client continues leading in the home furnishing industry through successfully implementing new products from concept to market release.

Key Responsibilities:

• Innovation and Development: Seek out and integrate innovative ideas that will elevate our client in all aspects of the business.
• Product Implementation: Oversee the entire product development process ensuring the successful transition of new products from concept to market release.
• Market and Trend Analysis: Maintain a deep understanding of products styles and market trends within the home furnishing industry.
• Research: Conduct thorough research on product trends across various countries to ensure our client remains competitive and innovative in the global market.
• Design and Sourcing: Lead the design and sourcing processes for new products ensuring they meet our clients high standards of quality and innovation.
• Industrialization and Costing: Oversee the industrialization of products including costing and planning to ensure efficient and costeffective production.
• Team Leadership: Inspire and lead a competent Product Development (PD) team fostering a culture of creativity collaboration and excellence.
• Collaboration with Leadership: Work closely with the Plant Manager and the CEO to identify and capitalize on innovation opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar Product Development role within the mattress or upholstery segment with a proven track record of bringing products to market.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the home furnishing industry including current market trends and product styles.
• Skills: Strong research capabilities with the ability to analyze and apply product trends from various international markets.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Innovation: A visionary mindset that can drive innovation and elevate the companys product offerings.
