**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Developer to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development Mainframe and .NET technologies along with handson experience in iOS app development. This is a remote position but candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to Columbus Ohio United States.

**Key Responsibilities:**

Develop test and maintain highquality Java applications.
Analyze and resolve technical and application issues.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features.
Design and implement scalable reliable and maintainable code.
Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirement analysis design coding testing and deployment.
Ensure the best possible performance quality and responsiveness of the applications.
Develop and maintain technical documentation.

**Required Skills:**

Proficient in Java programming with a strong understanding of objectoriented principles.
Experience with Mainframe technologies.
Knowledge of .NET framework and its components.
Proven experience in iOS app development and deployment.
Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to debug complex issues.
Excellent understanding of software development best practices and methodologies.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
Good communication and teamwork skills.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of cloud platforms and services such as AWS or Azure.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
