Dry Bulk Freight Analyst - Olam Agri

On behalf of Olam Agri MARPRO is looking for a Dry Bulk Freight Analyst who will join the team of analysts located in Nyon Switzerland integrated in the trading desk with colleagues across the world. You will report to VP Grains Freight.

Main Responsibilities

• Indepth analysis on the dry bulk market and trade flows with a special focus on minor bulks
• Maintaining and developing supply and demand forecast models as well as other tools used in the freight and freight research department
• Preparing regular reports and/or material to present to the freight team
• Supporting the work of freight research team as required and
• Sharing market insights with the organization.

Professional Competencies

• Degree in mathematics statistics economics engineering shipping or related areas
• Broad knowledge of dry bulk commodity trade flows and / or freight market
• Proficiency in Excel;
  Strong coding skills especially in Python as well as experience with databases;
  Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau desirable
• 2 to 5 years of working experience in business analysis and
• Proficiency in English

• Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure and
• Very good communication and presentation skills.
