Key responsibilities include ensuring efficient operations managing the financial aspects of trades and maintaining strict compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the complete execution of physical trades from the point the contract is issued until the transaction is closed.
- Handle financial operations related to transactions including opening and cashing Letters of Credit negotiating and issuing shipping documents and overseeing credit limits.
- Coordinate effectively with with the various stakeholders involved in the transaction (internal departments shipping brokers insurance inspection companies and commercial counterparts) ensuring seamless execution and timely communication.
- Abide by the internal operational risk compliance and sanctions policies.
- Deliver timely and accurate operational reports.

Requirements
- Extensive experience in international logistics (minimum 3 years) preferably with bulk and liquid commodities.
- Previous experience with fertilizers commodities highly valued.
- Proven track record in a similar role ideally within a trading environment.
- Higher education or university degree in Business Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Proficient in English; knowledge of additional languages is highly valued.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Accurate working and detail oriented ability to independently manage tasks team player.
