We are currently looking for a Senior Bookkeeper to join our growing team. This is a fulltime position. To be considered candidates must have at least 4 years of US Bookkeeping experience working for a US public accounting firm.

Job Summary

As the Senior Bookkeeper you will be responsible for undertaking all bookkeeping activities including bank and credit card reconciliation accounts payable accounts receivable and payroll.

Your duties will include

  • Transactions categorization.
  • Asset and liability reconciliations (including payroll).
  • Ensure all vendors are maintained for 1099 processing.
  • General ledger maintenance.
  • Conducting monthend and yearend book closings and cleanup.
  • Producing monthly financials including income statements and balance sheets.
  • Preparation of working papers to support month and yearend statements.
  • Drafting of emails requesting information.
  • Keep uptodate client checklists and informational sheets.
  • Expected to review and train other team members work.

Qualifications

  • Must have solid QuickBooks Online experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Very reliable.
  • Extremely organized.
  • Trustworthy and accountable.
  • Loves a challenge.
  • Good internet connection.
  • Looking for a firm to grow with.
