Database Architect

As a Database Architect with a law firm in the US you will play a pivotal role in designing and managing SQLbased databases on the Microsoft/Azure stack. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting the firms operations and ensuring seamless data management within a complianceheavy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust database solutions on the Microsoft/Azure stack for operational support.
• Lead the migration/Setup of databases to Azure with a focus on minimal downtime and data integrity.
• Manage SQLbased databases optimizing performance scalability and security.
• Collaborate with IT team members and stakeholders to integrate database services into the firms infrastructure.
• Maintain detailed documentation on database architecture and procedures.
• Stay abreast of industry trends to enhance existing systems and recommend improvements.

• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years as a Database Architect with expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and Azure technologies.

• Strong understanding of database principles structures and practices.
• Familiarity with data protection regulations in a legal firm setting.

• Certifications in Microsoft SQL Server and Azure Database Administration.
• Experience in legal or complianceheavy industries.
