Job Description

As a Sales Representative at Indigo Research one of the fastest growing products at Crimson Education you will play a pivotal role in driving the sales growth of our research services for high school students. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with high school students and their parents across various markets while promoting our research services to meet their academic needs. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with talented sales & marketing teams and significantly impact the companys growth and success.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a resultsoriented team player with a strong sales background exceptional communication skills empathy adaptability and a passion for education.

Responsibilities:

Sales and Customer Relationship Management (80%)

  • Identify and reach out to potential customers including high school students and parents across various markets (primarily the US Canada LATAM).
  • Conduct sales presentations and virtual meetings to showcase the value of Indigo Researchs services.
  • Build and maintain strong longterm relationships with existing and potential customers. Address their inquiries provide product information propose customized research solutions to cater to their specific academic needs and offer exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and yearly sales targets contributing to the companys overall revenue and growth objectives.
  • Using CRM software maintain accurate and uptodate records of sales activities customer interactions and pipeline progress.

Collaboration (10%)

  • Work closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies with marketing campaigns and product offerings.

Market Research (10%)

  • Stay updated on industry trends competitors and the changing needs of high school students and educators.
  • Provide valuable insights to the marketing team for continuous improvement
  • Based on that suggest new sales strategies.
  • Suggest and close partnerships based on market research insights.

Required Skills:

  • A Bachelors/Masters/Ph.D. degree in sales or a business/educationoriented field from a toptier US/UK University.
  • Knowledge of the high school education system and college admissions process in the US/UK.
  • Proven track record in sales especially in selling services to the education sector or a similar target audience.
  • Selfmotivated and targetdriven with a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences.
  • Proactive and persistent in pursuing leads and converting them into customers.
  • Comfortable with technology virtual communication tools and remote sales processes to efficiently connect with clients and team members.
  • Being able to adapt to different markets and creatively approach sales strategies.
  • Communicating persuasively and confidently with a high degree of empathy and deep crosscultural comfort.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Groove is a plus.
