We have an urgent requirement for a QA Lead (10 yrs of exp).

Job Description:

Our clients Data platform consists of a series of Python microservices which becomeintegrated through REST and RabbitMQ.We are looking for a QA Lead to ensure the highest quality of our platform including both backend microservices and the UI client developed using Anvil.

Responsibilities

Leadership and Management:

Lead the Quality Assurance team with handson guidance and mentorship.

Plan and manage the hiring of quality assurance staff as needed.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the QA team.

Quality Assurance Strategy:

Develop and implement comprehensive automated quality assurance strategies.

Define and track KPIs such as test coverage defects per release and efficiency metrics.

Establish testing standards and efficient processes for developers.

Test Development & Integration:

Design and develop test cases test data and testing scripts for various testing levels:

Unit Integration Functional Performance Load & Regression.

Work closely with Developers Project Managers and Users throughout the SDLC.

Automate the regression suite for each of these testing functions using scalable testing frameworks.

Implementation & Automation:

Lead tool selection and technical implementation approach.

Oversee PoC implementations endtoend test PoCs sizing and planning.

Drive UI automation and servicebyservice implementation.

Technical Skills Required

10 years of professional experience developing reviewing understanding and implementing high quality test cases that comprehensively cover all testing aspects of the application or system in order to ensure Production readiness.

7 years of strong handson experience with various QA Automation tools such as:

Selenium Cypress Cucumber JMeter FitNesse JUnit LoadRunner SONAR.

7 years of handson experience with Python.

Strong handson experience withpytest for writing and executing test casesparticularly for backend Python microservices.

Must be able to integrate pytest within the CI/CD pipeline ensuring automated execution of tests during the development process.

Expertise in analyzing test results identifying trends and generating comprehensive reports for stakeholders.

Ability to create and maintain automated test scripts ensuring repeatability and efficiency in the testing process.

Familiarity with PostgreSQL and SQLite constructs specifically in the context of testing.

Ability to manually query the database using SQLto further triage or analyze a failed test.

Experience in validating data integrity consistency and performance within database systems.

Must have a working understanding of containerization technologiesspecifically Docker as the platform ultimately runs on Docker.

Ability to manage deploy and troubleshoot Docker containers to ensure seamless integration with the existing infrastructure.

Experience with container orchestration and management tools such as Swarm Compose Kubernetes.

Familiarity with cloudnative technologies and services is essential for ensuring that the platform performs optimally in a distributed cloudbased architecture.

Experience in designing and executing cloudbased testing strategies includingperformance scalability and security testing.

Ability to leverage cloudspecific tools and services to automate testing simulate different environments and analyze results in real time.
