Were seeking an Executive Chef for our client in Santa Barbara CA. This role provides culinary leadership within a mediumsized unit including menu planning program execution and staff management & training. Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution.
Full P&L responsibility with knowledge of financial reporting food ordering inventory employee scheduling menu development pointofsale systems and marketing is needed. The ability to work with assigned chef and supervisors to achieve these goals is required as is the ability to motivate staff to achieve a highlevel of customersatisfaction. Great communication and organization skills will assist the candidate in being successful in this environment.
Requirements
Associate degree or equivalent experience.
2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants fast food vending catering services institutional services mall food courts etc.
Experience in financial reporting food ordering inventory employee scheduling menu development.
Experience in food preparation & production.
Experience in managing catering & retail areas.
2 Years of management experience.
